Laser rangefinder telescope

Laser rangefinder telescope is a kind of laser rangefinder, or distance measuring telescope. Another short-range rangefinder is called hand-held rangefinder. Handheld rangefinders generally measure distances of 0-200 meters, mostly for indoor use. The distance measured by telescope rangefinder is usually 6-3000 meters. The measuring principle of laser rangefinder includes pulse type and phase type. The pulse type uses the known speed of light to measure its propagation time between two points to calculate the distance. The measurement is relatively farther, but the accuracy can only reach meter level. It is mostly used to measure buildings or large long-distance targets. The phase type uses the high-frequency electric oscillation with a period of T to modulate the amplitude of the emitting light source of the rangefinder so that the light intensity changes periodically with the frequency of the electric oscillation. Modulated light waves travel back and forth over the distance to be measured, causing the phase difference Δ φ between the emitted light and the received light at the same instant. Based on this, it is indirectly calculated that the distance measurement can usually reach millimeter level, but the measurement range is relatively close. The handheld rangefinder uses the phase principle to measure. Most of them are used indoors or in places where high precision measurement is required.

As the name implies, the laser rangefinder telescope is also a telescope, but it is only a telescope with laser ranging. Therefore, the laser rangefinder telescope is divided into single-barrel telescope rangefinder and double-barrel telescope rangefinder. At present, the common specifications on the market are 6x optical zoom, 7x optical zoom, measuring distances of 600m, 1000m, 1500m, 2000m, 3000m and other models, and the appropriate models can be selected according to requirements. Single-barrel telescope rangefinders generally cost hundreds to thousands of dollars, while binocular rangefinders generally cost tens of thousands.
