Sinoscope

Sinoscope is a medical device used in otolaryngology clinical treatment. It has the advantages of large field of view, high resolution, strong light intensity, clear imaging, etc. It can directly look at nasal cavity lesion tissue under speculum for diagnosis and surgical treatment with the cooperation of surgical instruments. It can also be equipped with endoscope image display device and digital endoscope display device for diagnosis and treatment, making clinical diagnosis and treatment more intuitive, clear and accurate, recording and printing intraluminal lesion tissue and treatment process, and facilitating consultation, teaching and archiving. Indication

1. Refractory chronic sinusitis has poor effect after conservative treatment.
2. Obstructive diseases that hinder ventilation and drainage of the middle nasal passage, such as hypertrophy of uncinate process or ethmoid bulb, excessive hypertrophy or abnormal bending of middle turbinate, edema of mucosa of middle turbinate or middle nasal passage, polypoid changes and polyps of any nasal passage.
3. Small sinus cyst.
4. Recurrent acute and chronic sinusitis. After excluding the patients suffering from systemic diseases due to decreased body resistance, it can be considered that recurrent sinusitis itself means that there is obstruction of nasal sinus ventilation and drainage. Even if nasal polyps are not seen before surgery, surgery should be carried out as appropriate. From the CT films of these patients, the obstruction of nasal sinus ostium complex drainage can be seen, and the symptoms of sinusitis can be obviously relieved after operation.

Contraindications

Endoscopic sinus surgery has no absolute contraindications. Relative contraindications include severe systemic diseases, hemorrhagic diseases and uncontrolled diabetes. For the elderly and infirm or infants under the age of three and pregnant women should be careful; People with mental or conscious disorders should be cautious; Surgery should be postponed during acute upper respiratory tract infection.

Use and Maintenance

1. Clean all surfaces with warm water and mild soap solution. Possible residual stains can be cleaned with 1: 1 mixture of methanol and acetone. Then wipe the surface with a soft gauze. Those stains and scratches that affect the optical quality can be clearly seen through light reflection. If there are residues on the surface of the two end faces of the light guiding beam after cleaning, the light guiding property will be seriously affected, and the residues must be removed.
Warning: High energy light will overflow from the guide beam at the distal end of the endoscope. The temperature can reach 41℃ within 8mm from the distal end of the endoscope. Therefore, please avoid direct contact between body tissues or combustible substances and the end of the endoscope. If you work nearby, please turn down the intensity of the light.
2. Disinfection Please ensure that the endoscope is thoroughly cleaned before disinfection and sterilization, especially for endoscopes that can be sterilized under high temperature and high pressure. If the endoscope is not thoroughly cleaned, the quality of the optical lens system will be seriously affected, thus significantly reducing the service life of the endoscope. The product should be disinfected in a container suitable for the corresponding disinfection process and capable of safely receiving optical lenses. No mechanical weight should be applied to the endoscope, otherwise sensitive optical systems and parts will be damaged.
3. Sterilization This product has good sealing and high pressure and high temperature resistance. It can be sterilized by pressure steam.
4. Maintenance and Maintenance This product is a precision instrument with complicated structure and easy damage. Care should be taken when using it to avoid bumping, and proper storage is required. Except the cold light source plug of the optical cable and the conversion sleeve of the optical cable interface of the endoscope, please do not disassemble, refit or attempt to repair, otherwise it will cause injury to the patient or the operator and may damage the equipment.
After each use, it should be cleaned and wiped in time, sorted and placed in order for safekeeping. During disinfection, they should also be placed in sequence, and cannot be piled together at will for disinfection. Attention should be paid to avoid the endoscope hitting hard objects, and disinfection should be carried out in strict accordance with the prescribed disinfection method to avoid damaging the lens body.
When not in use for a long time, it should be placed in a ventilated and dry place and checked once every 1-2 weeks, paying attention to the presence of mildew, rust and flexible rotation of each connection. Mirror contamination can be wiped clean with ether, alcohol or silicone oil.
